This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 11th International SPIN workshop on Model Checking Software, SPIN 2004, held in Barcelona, Spain, in April 2004. The 19 revised full papers presented together with the abstracts of an invited talk and 2 tutorials were carefully reviewed and selected from 48 submissions. The papers are organized in topical sections on heuristics and probabilities, improvements of SPIN, validation of timed systems, tool presentations, abstraction and symbolic methods, and applications.
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Second International Conference on Automated Technology for Verificaton and Analysis, ATVA 2004, held in Taipei, Taiwan in October/November 2004. The 24 revised full papers presented together with abstracts of 6 invited presentations and 7 special track papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 69 submissions. Among the topics addressed are model-checking theory, theorem-proving theory, state-space reduction techniques, languages in automated verification, parametric analysis, optimization, formal performance analysis, real-time systems, embedded systems, infinite-state systems, Petri nets, UML, synthesis, and tools.
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Computer Aided Verification, CAV 2006, held in Seattle, WA, USA in August 2006 as part of the 4th Federated Logic Conference, FLoC 2006. The 35 revised full papers presented together with 10 tool papers and 4 invited papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 144 submissions adressing all current issues in computer aided verification and model checking - from foundational and methodological issues ranging to the evaluation of major tools and systems. The papers are organized in topical sections on automata, arithmetic, SAT and bounded model checking, abstraction/refinement, symbolic trajectory evaluation, property specification and verification, time, concurrency, trees, pushdown systems and boolean programs, termination, abstract interpretation, memory consistency, and shape analysis.
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 16th International Conference on Computer Aided Verification, CAV 2004, held in Boston, MA, USA, in July 2004. The 32 revised full research papers and 16 tool papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 144 submissions. The papers cover all current issues in computer aided verification and model checking, ranging from foundational and methodological issues to the evaluation of major tools and systems.
This volume consists of the proceedings of the 22nd International Conference on the Foundations of Software Technology and Theoretical Computer Science (FSTTCS 2002), organized under the auspices of the Indian Association for Research in Computing Science (IARCS). The conference was held at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur during December 12–14, 2002. The conference attracted 108 submissions (of which two were withdrawn). Of these, a total of 26 papers were selected for presentation in the conference. As in the last year, the PC meeting was held electronically (stretching over nearly three weeks in August 2002) and was a great success. In addition to the contributed papers, we ha...
