Samuel Gorton of Rhode Island and His Descendants
Samuel Gorton (1592/1593-1677) married Mary Maplett before 1630, and emigrated in 1636 from England to Boston, Massachusetts, settling in Plymouth, Massachusetts. They later moved to Aquidneck and then to Warwick, Rhode Island. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Oregon, Washington, California and elsewhere. Includes ancestry in England to about 1500.

John Trebilcock, his 1st wife, Mary and their two sons sailed from England to America, lived in New Jersey, returned to England, went to Toronto, Canada, where Mary died and John remarried; lived in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, where John Trebilcock and his 2nd wife, Mary Ann Pangburn, were the 1st settlers in Danville township, Worth County, Iowa.

The Gross Family History, 1754-1980
Philip Christian Gross (1729-1793) immigrated in 1754 from Germany to Bucks (now Northampton) County, Pennsylvania, and married twice. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Texas, California and elsewhere.
