Since the 1830s, Holiness and Pentecostal movements have had a significant influence on many Christian churches, and they have been a central force in producing what is known today as World Christianity. This book demonstrates the advantages of analyzing them in relation to one another. The Salvation Army, the Church of the Nazarene, the Wesleyan Church, and the Free Methodist Church identify strongly with the Holiness Movement. Librarian, archivist, bibliographer and historian, Charles Edwin Jones (1932-_ received his education at the Bethany-Peniel College in Oklahoma and the Universities of Michigan and Wisconsin. The Charles Edwin Jones Collection at Fuller Theological Seminary includes both printed and archival materials. The printed collection documents the Holiness, Pentecostal and Charismatic movements as well as the contexts in which these traditions have developed. The Jones archives include his research notes, correspondence, rare ephemera related to the subjects of his research.
