Charles Henry Browning
Charles Henry Browning was born 16 May 1886 in Ogden, Utah. His parents were Stephen Abiel Browning and Emily Chatelain. He married Viola Rebecca McFate 14 March 1906 in Salt Lake City. They had five children. He married Emma Margaret Hill in 1935 and they had two children. They lived in several different places in Idaho, Utah and Nevada. Charles worked at various occupations including sheep herding, farming, butchering and painting. He died 20 March 1967 in Sunset, Utah.

The Tiernan Family in Maryland
The Tiernan family is from the County of Meath, Ireland. Luke Tiernan, son of Paul Tiernan (1728-1819), was born born in Ireland, near the battle field, on the river Boyne, in 1757. He came to America about 1784 and settled, first, in Hagerstown. He settled in Baltimore about 1790 and engaged in business as an importing and general commission merchant. He married Ann Owen (1775-1841), daughter of Robert Owen and Rebecca Swearingen Owen, 6 January 1793. They had five children. Luke Tiernan died 10 November 1839. Descendants lived in Maryland and elsewhere.
