The Reinforcement Sensitivity Theory of Personality

One of the major neuropsychological models of personality, developed by world-renowned psychologist Professor Jeffrey Gray, is based upon individual differences in reactions to punishing and rewarding stimuli. This biological theory of personality - now widely known as 'Reinforcement Sensitivity Theory' (RST) - has had a major influence on motivation, emotion and psychopathology research. In 2000, RST was substantially revised by Jeffrey Gray, together with Neil McNaughton, and this revised theory proposed three principal motivation/emotion systems: the 'Fight-Flight-Freeze System' (FFFS), the 'Behavioural Approach System' (BAS) and the 'Behavioural Inhibition System' (BIS). This is the first book to summarise the Reinforcement Sensitivity Theory of personality and bring together leading researchers in the field. It summarizes all of the pre-2000 RST research findings, explains and elaborates the implications of the 2000 theory for personality psychology and lays out the future research agenda for RST.

Biology of Personality and Individual Differences

This is the first book to provide an overview of current research using cutting-edge genetic and neuroimaging methods in the study of personality. Integrating compelling lines of inquiry that until now have largely remained disparate, the volume brings together leading investigators from personality psychology; clinical psychology and psychiatry; cognitive, affective, and behavioral neuroscience; and comparative psychology. Coverage includes the structure of personality and its mapping onto biology, genetic markers for individual differences and vulnerability towards psychopathology, sex differences and age-related processes, and functional neuroimaging approaches.

The CAUL, a Trilogy. Part III, Good Vs. Evil

Part III of this trilogy begins with the surprising discovery that James Markham has a half-sister residing in San Diego, California and during his fateful visit he finds himself in the middle of a robbery case that demands his involvement in freeing an innocent man from prison. His unwitting exposure to the media places Markham in the cross-hairs of former enemy terrorists whose several attempts on his life nearly cause his demise. Nonetheless, Markham survives to pursue further challenges that fate places before him while it sets the stage for his eventual confrontation as the Biblical Truth-Seeker with the most powerful American politician identified in the Bible Code by the Secret Society of Jesuits as the Anti-Christ.
