Ancestors of Martin Edward Wiles (b. 1930), son of Oscar Martin Wiles and Lorena Wilomenia Ellender, who was born in Texas. He married 1952 in Dallas, Texas, Nyma Jane Rhea (b. 1932), daughter of Alfred Simpson Rhea and Inez Ellen Thomas. She was born in Tyler, Smith Co., Texas. The emigrant ancestor of the Wiles family, Abraham (Frog) Wilds (1734-1784), was born in England, and died in Kent Co., Delaware. He arrived at the port of Philadelphia, Pa. in 1751. Family members and descendants live in Texas, Kansas and elsewhere.
