Software Engineering Research, Management and Applications
The purpose of the 11th International Conference on Software Engineering Research, Management and Applications (SERA 2013) held on August 7 - 9, 2012 in Prague, Czech Republic was to bring together scientists, engineers, computer users, and students to share their experiences and exchange new ideas and research results about all aspects (theory, applications and tools) of Software Engineering Research, Management and Applications, and to discuss the practical challenges encountered along the way and the solutions adopted to solve them. The conference organizers selected 17 outstanding papers from those papers accepted for presentation at the conference in order to publish them in this volume. The papers were chosen based on review scores submitted by members of the program committee, and further rigorous rounds of review.
Gerontechnology
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the Second International Workshop on Gerotechnology, IWoG 2019, held in Cáceres, Spain, in September 2019. The 24 revised full papers along with 11 short papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 77 submissions. The papers are organized in topical sections on smart technologies and algorithms for health; technologies to increase the quality of life of the elderly population;Internet of Things (IoT); solutions for active aging, social integration and self-care; monitoring and management of chronic and non-chronic diseases; health interventions to support caregivers of elderly people; public and other health initiatives.
Quality of Information and Communications Technology
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 13th International Conference on the Quality of Information and Communications Technology, QUATIC 2020, held in Faro, Portugal*, in September 2020. The 27 full papers and 12 short papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 81 submissions. Gerontechnology IV
This book gathers peer-review contributions to the 4th International Workshop on Gerontechnology, IWoG 2021, held on November 23-24, 2021, in Évora, Portugal. They report on cutting-edge technologies and optimized workflows for promoting active aging and assisting elderly people at home, as well as in healthcare centers. This book contains the proceedings of the five high-quality workshops organized at the Second European Conference on Service-Oriented and Cloud Computing, ESOCC 2013, held in Malaga, Spain, in September 2013. Current Trends in Web Engineering
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-workshop proceedings of the 16th International Conference on Web Engineering, ICWE 2016, held in Lugano, Switzerland, in June 2016. The 15 revised full papers together with 5 short papers were selected form 37 submissions. The workshops complement the main conference, and provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to discuss emerging topics.
