Jonas Hershey Martin (1839-1925) was born near Goodville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He married Sarah Witwer in 1863. She died in 1889, and Jonas married Anna Wenger in 1890. He was a bishop and leader of the Mennonite church. Descendants, who were Menonnites, lived chiefly in Pennsylvania. Includes history of the Mennonite Church in America.

Peter Hershey (1839-1922), son of Jacob Hershey and Elizabeth Eby, was born in Paradise Township, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania. He married Barbara Neff Buckwalter (1840-1911), and raised a family of eleven children on a farm on the Strasburg Road in Paradise Township. The early ancestor, Andrew (Hans) Hersche, moved with his family from Appenzell, Switzerland to Palatinate, Germany and later on to Pennsylvania. They were mennonites.

Henry B. Weaver (1830-1923) was born in Weaverland, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He married Esther (Hettie) Mosser in 1853, and they had sixteen children. She died in 1889, and he married Anna (Witmer) Martin. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, New York, Missouri, Colorado, Arizona and elsewhere. Includes ancestors to 1640 in Pennsylvania and Switzerland. They and many descendants were Mennonites.
