In the realm of modern immunology, the pursuit of precision therapeutics has emerged as a paramount endeavor. This research field harnesses the power of advanced multi-omics technologies and comprehensive methodologies to revolutionize personalized immune interventions. Immunotherapy, a cornerstone of precision medicine, targets the intricate dynamics of the immune system to combat diseases ranging from cancer to autoimmune disorders. Integrating multi-omics analyses, including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics, enables a holistic understanding of immune responses at various molecular levels. Immune signatures derived from these analyses unveil individualized patterns, ...
The book is focused on nanostructured materials, which have been well-studied in various fields from life to materials sciences. Nanostructured science has the potential to help make revolutionary discoveries based on modifying the properties of these materials compared with micro-structured materials. Nanostructured materials are the key to discovering new products based on new technologies. This book is focused on presenting new state-of-the-art methods for the synthesis and processing of nanostructured materials. These materials can be used in both in life and materials science with applications from biomedical devices, drug delivery systems, medical imaging with multiferoic materials, high-energy batteries, capacitors, superconductors, and aerospace components.
Vols. for 1963- include as pt. 2 of the Jan. issue: Medical subject headings.
The interplay between cancer cells and the immune system is a critical area of research, with recent advancements highlighting the potential of immunotherapy in offering durable responses across various cancer types. Immune checkpoint inhibitors, in particular, have emerged as a cornerstone of cancer therapy, transforming patient outcomes. However, the heterogeneity of tumor-immune interactions poses significant challenges, with a considerable fraction of patients not responding to such treatments. This underscores the urgent need for a deeper understanding of the molecular and cellular underpinnings of these interactions, to harness the full potential of immunotherapy. This Research Topic a...

The book includes 9 chapters on the current status of world cotton production, genetic diversity and genetic gain through breeding in cotton, introgression breeding to broaden the genetic diversity of cotton, development of genetic populations and molecular markers, molecular linkage mapping of major genes and quantitative trait loci (QTLs) and association mapping, molecular cloning of candidate genes for important traits, and molecular and genomics assisted breeding in cotton. This part also deliberates fundamentals and applications of genetic engineering including genome editing and genetically engineered commercial cotton, and mutagenesis for genomics studies. The work further includes six chapters that presents deliberations on genomes for almost all the cotton species (Gossypium spp.) with an emphasis on A, D, and AD genome species, comparative genomics among various cotton species, and functional genomes in general and specifically transcriptomics and metabolomics.
