William Guest Sr. could have possibly been the son of one of the first "Guests" that came to America in 1638. He married Susannah? They had six sons. William and his family moved to North Carolina in 1769 and then to South Carolina in 1785. It is presumed that William died ca. 1790. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, and elsewhere.
". . . John McCordy appears to have been born in northern Ireland about 1698 [of Scottish lineage] . . . came to New England about 1728. . . remained in Medford or Boston before moving to St. Georges [later part of Maine] . . . and that he remained in Boston at age 49.".

Andrew Elton Williams, son of John S. Williams, was born in 1800 or 1801 in Bulloch County, Georgia. His family moved to Jackson County, Florida in 1820. He married Martha Brett, daughter of John Brett and Elizabeth Gainer, in about 1823. They had eleven known children. He married Melissa Underwood in 1847. They had fourteen known children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Texas.
