Les temps actuels sont particulièrement tragiques pour les chrétiens du Proche-Orient. Il apparaît évident que les progrès de la paix passent par une meilleure compréhension entre la religion musulmane et la religion chrétienne, c'est au coeur des sociétés arabes, là où vivent encore des minorités chrétiennes que le dialogue doit se développer.
