Foundations of Civil Justice
This book reviews the knowledge corpus about access to civil justice across disciplines and legal traditions and proposes a new research framework for civil justice reform. This framework is intended to foster further critical analysis of the justice system in a systematic and organized way. The Church and Healing
Healing is central to any understanding of African Christianity. In this volume, the second in the "African Pastoral Studies" series offered by the African Association for Pastoral Studies and Counselling (AAPSC), African Christian theologians and health care professionals present studies of different aspects of the quest for health and wholeness in Africa today. Aspects of psychotherapy, traditional medicine, ritual and symbol systems as well as healing communities encountered within the sub-Saharan African sub-region are explored. Experiences from Francophone as well as Anglophone Africa inform the studies.
