Only those who enjoy meditation will do it regularly and experience its many life-enhancing benefits, from an increased sense of inner calm to a feeling of deep joy in everyday life. In this book, experienced yoga and meditation teacher Dr Samprasad Vinod uses his "9 secrets" approach to guide both newcomers and existing meditation practitioners alike in how to really embrace and get the most from a steady practice. Coming from a rich spiritual heritage (Dr Vinod's father was a respected spiritual master who travelled internationally as a World Peace Ambassador), Dr Vinod has created in this book a work that blends traditional Indian wisdom with his modern scientific knowledge as a Doctor. This title is an important contribution to the field of meditation that removes many distortions and misconceptions about the realities of the practice. It helps readers to understand problems that they may encounter along the way and offers reassuring solutions for them to try. A wonderful blend of spiritual and practical wisdom.
This book adopts the latest academic achievements of microwave and millimeter-wave chips based on thin-film integrated passive device technology as specific cases. Coherent processes of basic theories and design implementations of microwave and millimeter-wave chips are presented in detail. It forms a complete system from design theory, circuit simulation, full-wave electromagnetic simulation, and fabrication to measurement. Five representative microwave and millimeter-wave passive chips based on TFIPD technology are taken as examples to demonstrate the complete process from theory, design, simulation, fabrication, and measurement, which is comprehensive, systematical, and easy to learn and ...

In this book Peter Carnley examines the logical connection between the doctrine of the Trinity and the doctrine of redemption. In the companion volume to this, Arius on Carillon Avenue, contemporary expressions of belief in the "eternal functional subordination" of the Son to the Father were carefully discussed and found wanting when measured against the norms of orthodox trinitarian belief. This book examines the repercussions of this defective "trinitarian subordinationism" in relation to recent attempts to defend the "penal substitutionary theory" of the Atonement, which in turn is also found to fall short of trinitarian norms. As an alternative a less theoretical and speculative "incorporative" or "participative" theology of redemption is proposed.
