Richard Jackson, a Quaker, was born at Eccleson, Lancashire, England, and migrated to Ireland in 1648. He married Margaret Keete at Carrickfergus, County of Antrim, in 1650. They had four children, 1651-1659. He died in 1679 at Mountmellick, in the parish of Rosenallis and Queen's County, Ireland.
