Protocol Test Systems
This book presents the latest research results in protocol testing. It contains the complete proceedings of the seventh IFIP WG6.1 International Workshop on Protocol Test Systems (IWPTS '94), organized by the International Federation for Information Processing and held in Tokyo, Japan in November 1994. The book presents an alliance between research and industry and between the theory and practice of testing of data communication systems.
Grid and Cooperative Computing. Part 2
The two-volume set LNCS 3032 and LNCS 3033 constitute the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the Second International Workshop on Grid and Cooperative Computing, GCC 2003, held in Shanghai, China in December 2003. The 176 full papers and 173 poster papers presented were carefully selected from a total of over 550 paper submissions during two rounds of reviewing and revision. Web Caching and Its Applications

Smart cards have been driven by the need for a secure, portable, computing platform. Hence it is no surprise that security considerations dominated their research. The CARDIS conferences were created to provide a forum for this research. CARDIS 1998 is the third international conference on Smart Card Research and Advanced Applications, held in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, 14-16 Sept- ber 1998. Important issues in the area of protocol testing are examined in this volume, from consideration of recent developments, through a review of the current state-of-the-art, to discussions of likely trends and directions for the future.The major topics covered include: Theoretical Foundations; Conformance Testing Issues; Test Specification Issues; Test Selection-LOTOS; Test Selection and Optimization; Multi-Party Testing Experiences and Test Selection-Non-Determinism. Interoperability Testing, Test Coverage and Testability, and GSM Testing Issues are also explored and the book contains three invited papers on broadband ISDN testing, conformance testing experience and on test selection based on abstract data type specification.
Protocols for High Speed Networks IV
Welcome to the fourth IFIP workshop on protocols for high speed networks in Vancouver. This workshop follows three very successful workshops held in Ziirich (1989), Palo Alto (1990) and Stockholm (1993) respectively. We received a large number of papers in response to our call for contributions. This year, forty papers were received of which sixteen were presented as full papers and four were presented as poster papers. Although we received many excellent papers the program committee decided to keep the number of full presentations low in order to accommodate more discussion in keeping with the format of a workshop. Many people have contributed to the success of this workshop including the members of the program committee who, with the additional reviewers, helped make the selection of the papers. We are thankful to all the authors of the papers that were submitted. We also thank several organizations which have contributed financially to this workshop, specially NSERC, ASI, CICSR, UBC, MPR Teltech and Newbridge Networks.
