Software Design for Six Sigma
This proposal constitutes an algorithm of design applying the design for six sigma thinking, tools, and philosophy to software design. The algorithm will also include conceptual design frameworks, mathematical derivation for Six Sigma capability upfront to enable design teams to disregard concepts that are not capable upfront, learning the software development cycle and saving development costs. The underlying mathematical representation of complex robotic and manufacturing computer-controlled systems is still insufficient to create a set of models which accurately captures the dynamics of the system over the entire range of system operation. We remain in a situation where we must trade of the accuracy of our models with the manageability of the models.
