The Personal Life of the Psychotherapist
Psychotherapists are often deeply affected by the therapeutic relationships they form with patients. Adult Psychopathology and Diagnosis
Revised to reflect significant changes in the field, this textbook provides a thorough overview of major diagnostic categories of adult psychiatric disorders using DSM nomenclature. Since publication of the first edition in 1984, DSM-III-R has appeared; DSM-IV is anticipated; data has been adduced in support of existing diagnostic categories; and new semi-structured and structured interview schedules have been developed. Taking full account of these changes, it contains 17 chapters, 10 of them totally new and the remainder substantially revised.
