Philip Kelmer and his family immigrated from the Palatinate of Germany to the Livingston Manor, New York in 1710. Johannes Külmer or John Kilmer (1739-1823) was a great grandson of Philip, and was born at East Camp (now Germantown), New York. He married Elizabeth Mickle, and moved to Cobleskill, Schoharie County, New York in 1799. Includes other Külmer or Kelmer or Kilmer immigrants, and some of their descendants. Descendants and relatives lived in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Ontario and elsewhere in Canada.

Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of Michael Trautmann. He was born ca. 1598 in Schriesheim, Germany, to Sebastian Trautmann and Catherina. He married Margaretha Dorn. She died 12 Oct 1654. They were the parents of at least six children. He married Barbara Kern 15 May 1655. She was born ca. 1624, the daughter of Barthel Kern. She died in 1666. They were the parents of five children. He married Anna Margaretha Scheppler 28 Jan 1668. He died 20 Apr 1684. Descendants immigrated to America ca. 1743.

Michael Frantz Sr., Balser Frantz, and Christian Frantz Sr. arrived in Pennsylvania from Switzerland in 1727 and 1732. Matthias Frantz, son of Christian III and Anna, was born August 2, 1769 in Tulpehocken Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. About 1790, Matthias married Elizabeth Boeshore.
