Ancestors and Descendants of George Frank Wait
George Frank Wait was born 22 December 1825 in Brunswick, Medina, Ohio. He married Hannah Pathena Matrin (d. 1871) in 1859. They had four children. He married Almira Graham in 1873. They had five children. He died 19 February 1920 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Germany, Massachusetts, Ohio and Wisconsin.

After more than 15 years of research, this family can now trace their origins back to about 1600 in Germany. The immigrants arrived in 1737. Each family paragraph includes the following information when known: generation number, child number, name of descendant, dates, name of spouse, parents of spouse, residence, burial, children, and biographical notations. Some of the major surnames in the every-name index include: Batdorf, Butdorf, Dieffenbach, Fisher, Holstein, Irick, Kaser, Knoop, Lauer, Lower, Miller, Smith, Snyder, Spangler, and others. The Milford Connections in America, Australia, England, and Wales
John W. Milford (1876-1945), son of John and Elisabeth Milford, immigrated with his parents from Wales to Pennsylvania about 1881, and settled in Carroll County, Ohio about 1885, moving about 1896 to Akron, Ohio. Descendants lived in Ohio, Michigan, Nevada, California and elsewhere.
