Israel Tripp (1775-1842) and his brother, Richard (1788-1858), left Dutchess County, New York and settled in Ontario. Richard married Mary Jane DeMille and Israel married Susannah DeMille. Descendants lived in Ontario, New York, Saskatchewan, and elsewhere.

David Manuel and Mary Hodges Logan migrated from Virginia to Tennessee. They were the parents of at least seven children. She died in 1850 at Famington, Tennessee. He died in Mississippi before the Civil War. Their son, Tarlton L. Logan (1803-1877 or 1878), was born in Tennessee or perhaps Virginia. He married Jane Cambell (Camel) ca. 1821. They had eleven children, 1822-1841. The family migrated to Mississippi, ca. 1834, and to Missouri, ca. 1838. He died in Greene County, Missouri. Descendants lived in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and elsewhere.
