William Nelson Carter (1811-1880) was born at Durham, Greene County, New York. He married Mary MacFarland (1813-1882) in 1832 in Greene County, New York. Also includes family of Eliab Cutler Perham (ca. 1790-1858), son of Moses Perham, who married Roby Cole and died in Mendon, Massachusetts.
