Frank Leppin (1860-1918) emigrated from Prussia in 1883 when he was twenty-three years old. He married Veronica Magdalena Weiler (1858-1939), daughter of Joseph Weiler and Elizabeth Gantert, in 1883 in New York. They had seven children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New York, Maryland and Connecticut.
