Al-Bukhari Dan Metode Periwayatan Hadis-Hadis Bermasalah
Para ulama hadis merumuskan bahwa hadis shahih ialah hadis yang diriwayatkan oleh periwayat yang adil, dhabith, mata periwayatannya bersambung serta tidak mengandung syadz dan illat. Ibn al-Shalah mentahbiskan ketentuan ini sebagai standar yang digunakan semua ahli hadis. Dengan kata lain, pengertian ini diklaim Ibn al-Shalah sebagai konsensus (ijma) yang tidak bisa diganggu gugat. Buku ini memberikan signifikansi dan ruang bagi pembacaan ulang terhadap metode al-Bukhari. Buku ini penting untuk mengulas beberapa periwayat yang dianggap bermasalah dalam sahih al-Bukhari oleh sebagian ahli hadis belakangan.
