This book examines two linked Caithness Gunn families over many generations in places such as Scotland, Canada, Jamaica and Australia. It has many family trees, photographs and original documents including details of trips to Canada in the 1840s and Australia in the 1850s. Many letters from the mid 1800s are included. The book has many biographies including the Hon. Donald Gunn of Canada, William Gunn of Waranga Park, Sir John Gunn of Tormsdale and the Hon. John Alexander Gunn of New South Wales ('anthrax' Gunn). This book contains much original information showing how Gunns integrated into new lands. This work has taken many years and builds on documents held within the family and much detailed genealogical research. Two versions are available; a paperback black and white version and a deluxe hardback version with some colour photographs. The information and images are the same in both texts.
Breakfast with Mike
Gary was greatly influenced by Mike Spencer not only in his academic career but also his personal life. His friendship with Mike started when he was a young man and continued for over 40 years. He and Mike had many common interests. At their regular breakfast outings, Mike would share his thoughts on topics ranging from sports to education to his family. Breakfast with Mike details many of those discussions - some funny, some philosophical but always interesting. One of Mike's great loves was University of Illinois basketball. One of his favorite breakfast-time discussions was the team, their coach and the time they almost won a national championship.

True Story of Dracula is a horror book. It is written as if Dracula had existed. So it starts with Vlad III, from his early childhood, and tries to give him a character one can relate to, until the moment he was killed and how he was transformed into Dracula. How Dracula was and acted among his fellow humans. Not to forget how he managed to stay hidden for all those years. As one can see in the personified characteristics, I have also built up the character of Dracula, giving him a whole lot more depth.
