The Comegys Family
Cornelius Comegys I (1630-1708) immigrated from Holland to New Amsterdam, and married Willimentje Gysbert in 1658, settling in Kent County, Maryland in 1660. Descendants lived in Maryland, Virginia, the midwest and elsewhere.
