Gosale: Tre idioters äventyr är en bok fylld av glädje och sorg, hat och kärlek, förlust och vänskap, fattigdom och äventyr. Tawab, Mamad och Norak växer upp i samma område, i distriktet Balkh, i ett konservativt, afghanskt samhälle på 90-talet. Egentligen kommer de tre från olika klaner men de talar samma språk och lever enligt samma principer. Trots stora utmaningar och hinder håller de tre pojkarna alltid ihop och ger aldrig upp varandra och inte heller livet. Efter flera svåra och äventyrliga år på flykt hamnar de till slut i 2000-talets Sverige - ett helt annat land, en helt annan tid och kanske är de också nu helt andra människor.
