Secondly, various surgical procedures of NOSES in gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, splenopancreatic, urogynecologic and general surgeries were elaborated, including indications and contraindications, detailed surgical steps, technical key points and operational skills. Thirdly, controversial hot topics, technical difficulties and key issues for each surgical procedure were discussed. Experience and lessons learned in practical application were also shared by experts in different fields. It is not only suitable for the gastrointestinal surgeons but also surgeons working in gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, splenopancreatic, and urogynecologic surgeries.
