Formal Methods: Foundations and Applications
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 23rd Brazilian Symposium on Formal Methods, SBMF 2020, which was supposed to take place in Ouro Preto, Brazil, in November 2020. Instead the symposium took place virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 10 regular papers presented together with 3 invited talks in this book were carefully reviewed and selected from 17 submissions. The papers are organized in topical sections such as: experience reports; models, languages and semantics; and software product lines. Chapter ‘Safety Assurance of a High Voltage Controller for an Industrial Robotic System’ is available open access under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License via link.springer.com.
Consistent View-Based Management of Variability in Space and Time
Developing variable systems faces many challenges. Dependencies between interrelated artifacts within a product variant, such as code or diagrams, across product variants and across their revisions quickly lead to inconsistencies during evolution. This work provides a unification of common concepts and operations for variability management, identifies variability-related inconsistencies and presents an approach for view-based consistency preservation of variable systems.
Generative and Transformational Techniques in Software Engineering III
This tutorial book presents revised and extended lecture notes for a selection of the contributions presented at the International Summer School on Generative and Transformational Techniques in Software Engineering (GTTSE 2009), which was held in Braga, Portugal, in July 2009. Global Corruption
Corruption has played a pivotal role in determining the current state of the world - from mass poverty in developing countries, to the destruction of natural resources and to the erosion of trust in political parties. Laurence Cockcroft here argues that corruption has to be seen as the result of the interplay between elite 'embedded networks', greed and organised crime. He shows how the growth of corruption has been facilitated by globalisation, the integration of new and expanding markets into the world economy, and by the rapid expansion of 'offshore' financial facilities. These facilities provide a home to largely unregulated pools of finance derived from personal fortunes, organised crime and pricing malpractice in international trade. By identifying the main drivers of corruption world-wide and analyzing the current action to control them, this book suggests ways in which the problems caused by corruption can be addressed and ultimately prevented.

The Mexican Filmography, 1916 through 2001
Mexican cinema has largely been overlooked by international film scholars because of a lack of English-language information and the fact that Spanish-language information was difficult to find and often out of date. This comprehensive filmography helps fill the need. Arranged by year of release and then by title, the filmography contains entries that include basic information (film and translated title, production company, genre, director, cast), a plot summary, and additional information about the film. Inclusion criteria: a film must be a Mexican production or co-production, feature length (one hour or more, silent films excepted), fictional (documentaries and compilation films are not included unless the topic relates to Mexican cinema; some docudramas and films with recreated or staged scenes are included), and theatrically released or intended for theatrical release.
