Der Katalog zur Ausstellung "Raymond Pettibon: Drawings 1979-2003" im Museion - Museum für moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst in Bozen: Raymond Pettibon zählt heute zu den angesehensten Vertretern zeitgenössischer amerikanischer Kunst. Der aus dem kulturellen Klima der West Coast hervorgegangene Pettibon mischt in seinen Arbeiten auf unverwechselbare Weise Bild- und Schriftsystem, wobei er sich am Prinzip der Comic-Zeichnung orientiert. Im Mittelpunkt der Ausstellung und des Katalogs stehen die Zeichnungen Pettibons, insbesondere Werke aus den 80er Jahren, von denen viele erstmals gezeigt werden.
