The goal of this special edition Research Topic is to highlight the progress made in Pediatric Endocrinology, and on future challenges to provide a thorough overview of the field. This article collection is designed to inform on novel developments and discoveries, discuss current challenges, and provide new insights and perspectives that will guide the field into the future. Following the success of Insights in Pediatric Endocrinology: 2022 and Insights in Pediatric Endocrinology: 2021, we continue to build on the strength and enthusiasm generated, and look forward to continuing to accept contributions in 2024.
