Mackall Blackmore Asdell Family
This book contains the history and timeline of three families. Starting with James Mackall who immigrated from Scotland in 1655 arriving in Maryland following the Mackall history to Matilda Mackall who married Samuel Blackmore in East Liverpool, Ohio. Samuel Blackmore family history is traced back to London, England. Sam & Matilda Blackmore had a daughter, Cora, marry Joe Kern. Joe & Cora had a daughter marry Joseph Leland Asdell. The Asdell family history is recorded beginning with their departure from Antrim County, Ireland. Included is journal kept by Benoni Blackmore, brother of Sam Blackmore, detailing his time spent in gold and silver fields of California, Nevada, and Oregon in 1862. Additionaly are included family stories and antedotes.

Ohio Source Records is composed of articles from the scarce periodical The Ohio Genealogical Quarterly. This book consolidates and indexes the contents of the periodical, which consisted chiefly of cemetery records, tax lists, newspaper abstracts, and vital records, the combined articles bearing reference to about 45,000 persons.
Blackmore Family of Greene County
This book contains genealogy research completed by my Grandmother Sophia Asdell in 1984 which traces the Mackall family from Scotland to Maryland up through the Blackmore family of southern Indiana. There are stories shared by my grandmother of a simpler time, old family recipes, family tree, and other historical information.
The Marriage License Bonds of Northumberland County, Virginia, from 1783 to 1850
Northumberland County had no marriage register before 1850, so these records, gathered from loose papers in the County Clerk's Office, are unique. About 3,000 marriage bonds are listed, giving the names of about 7,500 brides, grooms, parents and sureties, and the bond date. In a good many instances, proof of marriage is shown by the "consent" of either the contracting parties themselves or their parents, in some cases giving the dates of birth and the place of marriage. There is an index of brides' names.
