Nous connaissions l'existence de notes manuscrites de Benveniste sur Baudelaire, mais elles sont restées introuvables pendant des années. Grâce à Chloé Laplantine, elles viennent d'être publiées chez l'audacieux éditeur de Limoges Lambert-Lucas. Grâce aux travaux menés à l'ITEM autour d'Irène Fenoglio, nous avions déjà pu pénétrer dans l'atelier de Benveniste. Mais la lecture de ces 370 feuillets-Baudelaire est une expérience beaucoup plus troublante.
