Zombies Don't Cry

Scotland, 803 A.D. About to be burned at the stake by her fellow villagers, Odaria does what any betrayed witch facing certain death would do. She calls down a curse. Within seconds, rampaging Norsemen raid the village, capturing everyone except her. But her reprieve is short-lived, and Odaria lands in the clutches of the Norse leader Rothgar. Can she remain true to herself and fight her growing attraction to this domineering man, or will she fall under his influence and be used for his ambitions? After Rothgar witnesses Odaria’s powers firsthand, he strikes a bargain with her. The raven-haired beauty will use her magical abilities to help him with his quest in exchange for safe passage off the isle. But can this cunning woman be trusted, or is she using him to exact vengeance on her village? Together they must fight bloodthirsty villagers, battle a mutinous band of Norsemen, find a missing Norse ship, and learn to trust each other . . . before time is up. - See more at: http://medallionmediagroup.com/books/the-vikings-witch/#sthash.2QIHj0LZ.dpuf

Notes on a Wet Cocktail Napkin

In the early 1950s, a humble building in the heart of a sleepy little beach town offered "GOOD FOOD," "cocktails" and, a necessity in the tropical climate, "air conditioning". The building was Bernard's Surf and the town was Cocoa Beach, newly incorporated and on the early end of a building boom thanks to the nearby space program at Kennedy Space Center. Years later, Bernard's nephew, Rusty Fischer, would take over the restaurant and steer it through the next 50 years of launches, space programs, celebrity visits, recessions, renovations and revelations. In Notes on a Wet Cocktail Napkin, Fischer recounts his decades in the restaurant business and his particular insights into a not-so-little-anymore town called Cocoa Beach. Along the way he pens the history of not just Bernard's Surf, but the town that hosted it and, of course, the space program that launched it into international recognition!

Zombies Don't Surrender

As the final volume in the series opens, Maddy, Dane, and Stamp are still together, though barely, nestled safely inside the walls of Sentinel City, a stronghold designed to keep Zerkers out—and zombies in. Maddy trains night and day, hoping to join Vera as a Keeper. Dane has been given Sentinel Support in the form a busty blonde named Courtney. And what of Stamp? Although Maddy’s dad has worked hard to rehabilitate him after his Zerker bite, he’s still not all . . . there. When Dr. Swift inadvertently allows the zombies’ archenemy, Val, to escape from Sentinel City, Maddy’s world turns upside down. She and Stamp are vanished—expelled from the safety of Sentinel City, no better than common Zerkers. Dane, a Sentinel now, escapes punishment and is assigned to ensure that his old friends never return. As Maddy and Stamp stray from the safety of Sentinel City, danger mounts . . . and not just for them. Val has taken up residence in a seaside town and enrolled in another Normal high school. To outwit her and save Seagull Shores from all-out zombie Armageddon, Maddy must face her archenemy once again. Only this time, she’s all alone...

BAH HUMBUG: STUDENT SUSPENDED OVER CHRISTMAS CHEER! Kennedy Middle School student Megan Walker was suspended yesterday, the first day of school for the new academic year. Her offense? You might think it was vandalism, tardiness, or lack of respect but you'd be wrong. The sixth grader's crime was, of all things, showing a little early holiday spirit. In flagrant violation of the student dress code, Megan was caught wearing a snowman shirt bearing the "offensive" slogan, "Have a Holly, Jolly Christmas." Why, the nerve of this plucky little twelve-year-old! Turns out local school policy precludes such religious sentiment, and Megan's stunt earned her the rest of the week off from school. (Sounds to me like Christmas came a little early for one Kennedy student.) Megan was warned not to wear the shirt when she returns to school next week, but from what school officials told me yesterday they were "far from reassured that she'd comply." Hmm, sounds like a challenge to me! Stay tuned for the Santa Standoff as we bring it to you live from the halls of Kennedy Middle School
