Halorum
Halorum is a holy kingdom. Long ago the message of their gods, the Halorum Knights, passed unto them; live for them and they shall be guided by the Light. And so they praised these unknown gods under the Fatherking as he united the lands into a righteous kingdom while others rejected their very existence. Through the years the realm of man contested their faith with one another, segmenting the once whole kingdom, and failed to foresee the shadow and decay of the Underworld corrupting and possessing those whom lost their faith. As the holy kingdom undertakes the task to withdraw the darkness from their realm with the aid of the Reaper Knights, there rises another malice in the distant lands once held in the Light. King Tarkin will seek the aid of his old friend to vanquish the harbinger of death while the incredibly skilled Paulira is sent on a quest to seek a legend.
State of the Art of Therapeutic Endocrinology
During the last two decades, evidence of increasing trends of several endocrine-related disorders has been strengthened. These disorders often come with lack of uniform diagnosis and/ or even unclear endocrine disruption. The later is mainly due to abnormal classical changes in the blood- released hormone to its targeted organ, abnormal communication between cells within a tissue or organ (paracrine), within the same cell (intracrine) or signals which act on the same cell (autocrine). This challenging status drives endocrinologists to the urgent need to address enormous knowledge gaps in this wide field of research (Endocrinology). From the perspective point of view that "hormones control our bodies", we need to get these hormones rebalanced so we can restore overall health. That is simply endocrinology!
Conscientious Objection in Turkey
This book provides a socio-legal perspective to critical military studies by asking socio-legal questions about military conscription in Turkey: How do the international and domestic laws approach the conflict between the law and conscience? Why does Turkey insist on the non-recognition of the right to conscientious objection? How are those pursuing their conscience affected by such non-recognition? These questions are important as the law is shaped by the socio-cultural structures in which it operates, and any attempt to create a social change also necessitates understanding and challenging the legal framework. In this light, the book argues that one cannot fully understand and, as a result, resist the militarisation of society without understanding the relationship between the law and social norms.
