Aufgrund einer stetig wachsenden Leistungsfahigkeit konnen Hochleistungsrechner zur Simulation immer komplexerer Systeme eingesetzt werden. Einen neuen Bereich, der sich deren Hilfe komplexe technische Systeme hinsichtlich eines oder meherer kriterien optimiert werden konnen. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde solch ein Optimierungsansatz implementiert und zur Formoptimierung von Labyrinthdichtungen unter Verwendung der numerischen Stromungssimulation eingesetzt.
