Untersuchungen zur Verbalsyntax der Liviusübersetzungen in die romanischen Sprachen
Die vorliegende Arbeit geht von der Überlegung aus, daß zu den Charakteristika einer Sprache auch die Häufigkeit der syntaktischen Konstruktionen gehört und daß sich syntaktischer Wandel folglich weniger im Ersatz alter Konstruktionen durch neue äußert als vielmehr in einem Wandel der Vorkommenshäufigkeit der miteinander konkurrierenden Konstruktionen; d.h. syntaktischer Wandel erfolgt primär nicht auf der Ebene der langue, sondern auf der Ebene der Norm.
