In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Verein Über den Tellerrand e.V. plante das Fachgebiet Entwerfen und Baukonstruktion, Prof. Donatella Fioretti, Technische Universität Berlin im Wintersemester 2015/16 ein 1:1 Entwurfsprojekt für das Projekt Kitchen on the Run. Ein handelsüblicher Überseecontainer wurde zu einer mobilen Küche ausgebaut und mit räumlichen Erweiterungen versehen. In einem integralen Konzept wurden auch Regale, Tische und Bänke von Studierenden der Architektur entworfen und gebaut. Shared Heritage Revisited
Culture is constructed, negotiated, managed, and shared by various ideological, political, and moral reasonings which manifest themselves tangibly and intangibly in public monuments, architecture, memorial sites, theaters, museums, orchestras, and heritage associations. The contributions to this volume explore the intersection of cultural heritage and nationality in societies that are characterized by national, multi-national, and post-national concepts. Governance of Risk, Hazards and Disasters

Practices of Urban Inclusion
In recent years, migration policies have led to the erosion of fundamental rights for migrating persons in urban areas, with pathways to safe havens, both geographically and legally, gradually diminishing. This book explores the role of urban space and urban practice in creating conditions of exclusion and inclusion in European cities, especially in Berlin, Brussels, Milan and London. Building on collaborative partnerships between civil society organisations and universities, it shares some of the lessons learned and concerns raised by an experimental learning programme situated at the intersection of architecture, urbanism and migration. The volume presents a collection of texts in multiple languages, interviews, visual essays and situated examples from citizen-led solidarity initiatives, pedagogical experiences and spatial practitioners. Towards Radical Regeneration
This book reflects and expands on the current trends in the Architecture Engineering and Construction (AEC) industries to respond to the unfolding climate and biodiversity crisis. Shifting away from the traditional focus, narrowly centered on efficiency, the book presents a variety of approaches to move the AEC community from an approach that presents new challenges in all areas of the industry, from a linear, extractive paradigm to circular and regenerative one. The book presents contributions including research papers and case studies, providing a comprehensive overview of the field as well as perspectives from related disciplines, such as computer science, biology and material science. The chapter authors were invited speakers at the 8th Design Modelling Symposium “Towards Radical Regeneration”, which took place at the University of the Arts in Berlin in September 2022. International openness is one of the fundamental characteristics of the DiAP Department of Architecture and Design, which sees its members active in 57 bilateral collaboration agreements (without counting the Erasmus agreements) with countries in which today there is a demand for architectural design that looks at Italy as a model, not only for studies of historical architecture, but also for contemporary architecture designed in the existing city and for the new building, including complex landscape and environmental systems.
