Ollie Patton and Benjamin Avent
Benjamin Avent (1799-1878) married Olive Crain Patton (1807-1864) and had fourteen children. After her death, he married again and had four more children. They lived in Mississippi. Ancestors and descendants also found in Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, and elsewhere.
Albemarle County in Virginia
Each entry in this volume gives the name of the bride and groom, the date of the bond, and the name of the bondsman, who was often a relative of the bride. A brides' index follows at the back of the volume. All told, this work identifies the 3,500 oldest Loudoun County marriage bonds known to exist.

The deed abstracts identify the principals to the deeds, dates, location of the property, and, sometimes, the names of heirs and other relatives. The Minute Book abstracts refer primarily to deeds and wills, with the latter providing the names of the intestate, date of the will, and the names and relationships of the heirs.
