Roma Reilly presents a biographical sketch of Scottish explorer and surveyor Thomas Mitchell (1792-1855) for use by primary school children. Mitchell surveyed much of the eastern part of Australia. Reilly describes the four main expeditions led by Mitchell in Australia.
