A genealogy and a history of the Dudley family who are the descendants of Edward Dudley (born ca. 1602 and died before 6 Feb 1654/5) who settled in Middlesex county, Virginia in 1637 and later migrated to Franklin county, and from there to Callaway county, Missouri. He married Elizabeth Pritchard (died 1691). Descendants lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Missouri, and elsewhere.
