Lung cancer remains a leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide, and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) accounts for approximately 80% of all lung cancers. Despite advances in therapy, surgical resection remains the cornerstone of treatment for early-stage NSCLC. Over the past few years, there have been significant advances in surgical techniques for the management of NSCLC. Therefore, there is a need to update the surgical community with the latest updates in the field. This Research Topic aims to provide a comprehensive overview of recent advances in the surgical management of NSCLC. We aim to address various aspects of NSCLC management, including surgical techniques, perioperative care, and outcomes.
