Robert Desha (b.ca.1715), probably the son of a Huguenot immigrant, married Mary Everfieldt and lived in Northampton County, Pennsyl- vania. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico and elsewhere.

The Wainscott (Winscott) Family of Virginia, North Carolina, and Kentucky
Richard Wainscott was born in 1711 in England. He emigrated in 1728 and settled in St. Mary's, Maryland. He moved to North Carolina in about 1750. He had six known children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina, Kentucky, Missouri, Indiana and Oklahoma.
