Cele cincizeci de titluri de haikuuri recuperează și deturnează, cu un strop de ironie și, uneori, cu un ușor efect insidios, lexicul pandemiei COVID-19 , vocabularul și sintagmele titrate în ziare. Ilustrațiile, în tonuri de tristețe gri, alimentează sau disipează confuzia, în capricii grafice. Un anumit număr de haikuuri se bazează pe referințe literare, muzicale, religioase, sociale, istorice, științifice sau cinefile, putând complica sau întârzia descifrarea mesajului. Termeni neologici sau rari, aparținând registrelor îngrijit sau familiar, en sinergie cu jargoanele pandemiei și al altor discipline (gramatică, biologie, medicină, etc.), au permis descrierea imagisticii mentale subiacente acestor haikuuri. Abstragerea creativă se dovedește o imersiune culturală intrinsecă, dar la fel de bine și o incitare la documentare, lectură și vizionare, după întoarcerea la concretitudinea vieții curente.
