John Weddell (1714-1762)--son of William Weddell and Mary Irwin from Scotland--immigrated from England to New York City, and married Anne Kirten in 1736. John Weddle (1739-1799)--son of Joseph Weddle, German immigrant to Holland--married Mary Walling and immigrated in 1774 from The Netherlands to Baltimore, Maryland. Includes other immigrant Weddell-Weddle individuals. Descendants and relatives lived throughout New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, California and elsewhere.
