Jan Wood
After the war, Wood played on the Women's Professional Softball Team in Chicago, Illinois, in 1946. Wood worked as a physical education instructor for forty-one years and continued to fly. She has flown around the world, crossing Europe seven times, and was the first American pilot to fly to the top of Finland.
