Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of Nathaniel Ely. He was christened 28 Sep 1572 at Tenterden. He married 9 Jun 1597 to Susan Dowle at Tenterden. He died ca. 13 Aug 1615. They were the parents of four sons and three daughters. Their son Nathaniel, who was born ca. 1605, married Martha and immigrated to New England ca. 1634. Descendants lived in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, and elsewhere.
