James Foley was born in 1827 in Galway, Ireland. He married Catherine Kneeland (1832-1916), daughter of Thomas Kneeland and Bridget Kneeland, 7 September 1850 in Boston, Massachusetts. John Zlabek was born 24 June 1859 in Vodjan, Austria, Bohemia. His parents were Jacob Zlabek (1826-1917) and Mary Anna Mann (1827-1904). His family emigrated in 1865 and settled in Chicago, Illinois. They moved to Wisconsin in 1872. He married Catherine Morovits (1867-1950), daughter of John Morovits and Anna Straka (1841-1921) in 1884. They had thirteen children. He died in 1920.
