Viñoly founded his first office in Buenos Aires in 1969. 13 years later he emigrated to the United States. With offices in New York and Tokyo, Rafael Viñoly Architects is now one of the most successful architectural offices worldwide, with an impressive list of projects in the areas of architecture, urban planning and interior design, including significant buildings such as the Philadelphia Regional Performing Arts Center, Princeton University Stadium, and the New Bronx Supreme Criminal Court Complex.
