PROFUNEDU 2019
The 4th Progressive and Fun Education (The 4th Profunedu) International Conference is a forum for researchers and lecturers within the ALPTK Muhammadiyah College to disseminate their best research results. This conference aims to provide a platform for researchers and academics to share their research findings with others and meet lecturers and researchers from other institutions and to strengthen the collaboration and networking amongs the participants. The 4th Profunedu was held on 6-8 August 2019 in Makassar, Indonesia. It is hoped that this proceeding can help improve the quality of education, especially the quality of education in Indonesia.

This proceeding contains some papers which presented at Muhammadiyah English Language Teaching Conference (MELTC) 2019, hosted by English Education Department, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya. All the papers in this proceeding met the criteria set out by the committee. The theme of this valuable event is current practice of critical thinking in English language teaching (ELT): elevating high order thinking skills (HOTS). This issue is in line with the current program in ministry of education and culture republic of Indonesia, known as Kemendikbud, which is developing students’ creativity and critical thinking skills.

Berawal dari pengembaraannya dalam dunia beasiswa setelah ayahnya terkena musibah dan tak bisa membiayai kuliahnya. Gadis gigih itu berjanji untuk tidak menyusahkan siapapun. Perjuangannya untuk melanjutkan S2 gratis ke luar negeri sangat menguji kesabarannya. Ia berkali-kali gagal dan hampirputus asa. Di lain sisi, pertemuannya dengan teman lamanya menumbuhkan cinta. The 6th Asia Pasific Education and Science Conference (AECON ) 2020 was conducted on 19-20 December 2020, at Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, Purwokerto, Indonesia. The Theme of AECON 2020 is Empowering Human Development Through Science and Education. The goals of AECON 2020 is to establish a paradigm that emphasizes on the development of integrated education and science though the integration of different life skills in order to improve the quality of human development in education and science around Asia Pacific nations, particularly Indonesia.
