Pickett's Charge
The Children of Daela, Elementals of Earth, have survived for more than ten millennia and for some seven of them, have waged a long and costly war against the Ishada, an equally powerful race of beings who covet their power over the elements of earth. Their allies are the Dragons, formed from the union of Fire and Air, each is sworn to defend the other, and for performing such a service, the Dragons offer Dagnan Te Daelan a gift: a child with frightening power, a child with the power to save them and end this long war or to destroy them.
Knights' Tales
Knights' Tales is a collection of short stories; created by eight different authors, with each writer contributing a work of art, tempered by her own personal experiences. Their tales cover a gamut of themes, each one incisive and poignant, and each one articulating a basic human need. These writers may only be middle school-aged, but their minds and hearts are already delving into the fundamental needs of humanity. Knights' Tales is the second literary endeavor of The Summit Writers' Project. Like Faded Secrets, it is a celebration of an extraordinary synthesis of creativity and talent.
